The best way to start your stay with a city tour through Amsterdam. During this extensive coach tour we take you through 700 years of history.

The capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, is a unique city. The old merchant houses, the canals and the lively streets make Amsterdam incomparable to other cities. A city full of culture & a variety of large museums like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum. The tour will go through the historic centre with Dam and the royal palace, along the canals and the famous ‘Skinny Bridge’ and the museum quarter.
One perfect way to see an other side of the city, is with a canal cruise through the canals of Amsterdam. Holland’s capital has 100 canals and 1000 bridges. While cruising through the old city you will see elegant merchant’s mansions, carillon-topped churches and warehouses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

   
City tour The Hague + visit Madurodam
  The Hague is the government centre and also the most royal city of the Netherlands. A city of tree-lined avenues, elegant buildings and historical landmarks.
In the very centre is the “Binnenhof” seat of the Dutch parliament and the impressive Knight’s Hall. It is also where the royal picture Gallery Mauritshuis is located. The Mansions along Lange Voorhout and the small palaces of the royal family are at walking distance.
Madurodam is the well known miniature city. Here you can see the different architectonic styles of Holland. It gives an opportunity to visit all of the Netherlands within a couple of hours.
   
City tour Rotterdam + harbour cruise
  This modern harbour city with its Euromast is the second biggest city of Holland and has the biggest harbour of the world.
The centre is completely renovated after the second world war and has many sculptures, monuments, museums with a lot of futuristic architecture and houses. In the oldest city area Delfsthaven one can still see the life of former days. The best way to explore Rotterdam, with one of the biggest world-ports “Europoort”, is from a canal-boat. In merely 75 minutes you have an impressive image of enrolling, docking, wharf’s, silos, container-ships, river-vessels and ocean liners. You will get a good idea of everything that goes on in a world-port.
   
Excursion Delta Works
  Through the landscape of the islands of the province ‘Zeeland’ we will drive towards the Deltaworks. This part of Holland contains one of the youngest parts of land of the world.
We will drive via Brielle, Hellevoetssluis to Zierikzee and afterwards over the Zeelandbridge, one of the longest bridges of Europe (5022 meters). More than half of the Netherlands is below sea level. The fascinating Delta Expo shows how the people of the low parts won their battle against the mighty North Sea. You will see the worlds largest flood barrier; the Oosterschelde barrier. Besides the flood barrier, there is also an open air exhibition. In this exhibition the accent lies on the environment, fishing, farming mussels, oysters and trout.
Variety of cuisines
  The restaurants of Holland are noted for their diversity.
Besides the typical, hearty Dutch meals, such as the flavourful endive-potato casserole with bacon, the cooks of Holland have many more specialities up their sleeves. Pancake houses are very popular, with more than 30 kinds of pancakes to choose from. And those interested in a culinary glance back to the 17th century, when ships from the Netherlands made regular journeys to the Dutch East Indies, might consider a sumptuous rice table in an Indonesian restaurant.
   
Excursion Kröller Müller + Palace ‘t Loo
  At about one and a half hour drive from Amsterdam lies another surprise waiting to be discovered.: National Park “de Hoge Veluwe”.
Originally this park was the private property of the Kröller Muller family. It also houses a museum with an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the 19th and the early 20th century. This museum actually houses more paintings by Vincent van Gogh than the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
A visit is made to the city of Apeldoorn where the Royal Palace ‘t Loo is located. The palace was built in 1684 by order of Willem III as the summer-residence. This Palace used to be the favourite summer residence, country-residence and hunting-seat of the Stadhouders and the Royal Family of The Netherlands from 1686 till 1975. The interior decoration of the Palace reflects the lifestyle of the Royal Family during the past three centuries.
   
Excursion Zaanse Schans and Marken
  The city of Zaanse Schans is actually a characteristic residential community on the banks of the River Zaan.

Zaanse Schans is a village cum open air museum where you can see what every day live used to be like before the Industrial Revolution. The houses in the Zaan area are built in wood and painted in bright green and white, which gives the village a very picturesque character. There are three windmills still in operation and a visit to one of them is included in the tour. There is time for a short stroll throughout the village.
We make a nice walk at Marken, a fishing village along the coast of Holland’s IJsselmeer lake, once the saltwater Zuiderzee. In protestant Marken most people live in one of the cute painted wooden houses. Many of them still wear their traditional dresses.

   
City tour Utrecht + visit
  This lively historic university town and the 13th Century atmosphere make Utrecht a very special place.
Landmark the ‘bishopstown’ Utrecht is the 112 m high Dom tower - once separated by fire from its Cathedral. In summer musicians add to perfect shopping along ‘werven’ - where little cellar restaurants face the canals.
The national museum from Musical Clock to Street Organ contains an international collection of automatic musical instruments from the 17th to the 20th century. Everyday you can witness demonstrations of the instruments.
